Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions? We've got answers.

Will I get hit in class?
Beginners focus on technique, pad work, and bag work—no sparring required. When you're ready for controlled sparring, we use proper protective gear and match you with appropriate partners.
Is Muay Thai good for fitness?
Excellent! Muay Thai is one of the best full-body workouts. You'll build cardio, strength, flexibility, and coordination while learning practical skills.
What should I wear to class?
Athletic shorts and a t-shirt or tank top. You'll train barefoot. Bring hand wraps if you have them (we can show you how to wrap and have loaners available).
How is Muay Thai different from kickboxing?
Muay Thai includes elbow strikes, knee strikes, and clinch work that traditional kickboxing doesn't emphasize. It's often called 'the art of eight limbs' because it uses fists, elbows, knees, and shins.
Can I train Muay Thai if I've never done martial arts?
Absolutely! Our fundamentals classes are designed for complete beginners. You'll learn proper technique from day one in a supportive environment.
